I haven't been blogging at all lately, much less meal planning. Just getting through the day seems like an accomplishment, and finding time to grocery shop at all, much less meal plan just hasn't been happening. However, we've had two parties for Claire's birthday over the last two weekends, so I wanted to document what we served.
Claire's Family Party - BBQ (we had 18 adults and 6 kids)
smoked pork shoulder with rolls and BBQ sauce
cole slaw (made 3 bags of cole slaw with one batch of the dressing - it was a LOT)
curried potato salad (made a single batch, and it was almost gone)
cake
Claire's Tea Party with her friends (we had 10 girls and 2 boys + 5 adults)
cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches
peanut butter and raspberry jam sandwiches
fruit kebabs (pineapple, watermelon, canteloupe, and strawberries)
decadent dessert cups
petite vanilla scones
pink lemonade and cranberry ginger ale
cake and ice cream
